Day 1

Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

Day 2

In the morning, we´ll embark on a sightseeing tour of Lisbon, exploring the Portuguese capital of the seven hills, with its charming alleys, iconic tiles, the feeling of "saudade," and the beautiful Atlantic light. We’ll also visit the Belem neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators set sail to cross the oceans in the 15th century. Free time in the afternoon to walk and go to the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint; if you’d like to, you could take an optional trip to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening, we’ll return to the hotel from the lively Restauradores Square, filled with vibrant bars and cafes.

Day 3

We’ll depart from Portugal early, crossing the picturesque region of Alentejo. We’ll stop for a coffee in Estremoz, a charming town with a medieval castle, cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture, and a peaceful atmosphere that embody the Portuguese identity. Continuing our journey towards Spain, we’ll arrive in Cáceres, where you can enjoy lunch and a stroll through its historic center—an exceptionally well-preserved medieval and Renaissance urban complex. Finally, we’ll proceed to Madrid, arriving in the evening with a transfer to Plaza Mayor, bustling with restaurants and vibrant life.

Day 5

Salimos hacia Aragón atravesando tierras de Castilla. En ZARAGOZA nos detenemos brevemente para conocer la Basílica del Pilar. BARCELONA, llegada y breve panorámica en autocar por sus principales arterias para familiarizarnos con la capital catalana. Nota:(En ocasiones la visita puede realizarse en la mañana del día siguiente.)

Day 6

Tiempo libre en BARCELONA, podrá usted caminar por el Barrio Gótico, Las Ramblas y visitar la catedral. A las 12:00 h salimos hacia Francia y la Costa Azul atravesando la Provenza francesa. Parada en ruta para almorzar. COSTA AZUL, llegada al final del día.

Day 8

In the morning, we will head directly to the Michelangelo Viewpoint, with its breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Afterwards, we will walk toward the historic center, where we will take a city tour led by a local guide through FLORENCE, Tuscany’s capital and one of the most visited cities in the country. This city, known as the cradle of the Renaissance, has inspired some of the most influential artists and thinkers in history, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Raphael. Some highlights include the Gothic Cathedral (Duomo di Firenze), the ancient stone bridge (Ponte Vecchio) with its goldsmith stores, and Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of the city with the town hall in a medieval building. Free time will follow the tour.After lunch, we’ll continue our journey through scenic landscapes toward ROME. To kick off your experience in the city, we’ll provide a transfer to Trastevere, a lively neighborhood famous for its quaint restaurants and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 9

In the morning, we’ll take a three-hour guided tour of the Eternal City, combining a walking tour of Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride to admire one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. During the tour, we’ll see iconic landmarks such as the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour will end at VATICAN CITY around 11:00 a.m. After that, our guide will offer an optional tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.Free afternoon.

Day 10

After breakfast, we’ll head to Tuscany and the Emilia-Romagna region, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Apennine Mountains. Our first stop is Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna, a city with a rich history dating back to Roman times and a prominent cultural and culinary center in Italy. You’ll have time to explore its famous covered arcades, stretching along numerous streets and buildings, iconic towers, and main square. Known as the "city of food," Bologna is the birthplace of classic dishes like tagliatelle al ragù (Bolognese sauce) and lasagna. The city is also famous for its cold cuts, cheeses, and delicious Italian gelato. We’ll stop here for lunch.In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Ferrara, a city surrounded by 9 km of ancient walls. Its historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features notable landmarks such as the grand medieval castle, the Cathedral of Saint George, and its Renaissance palaces.We’ll then make our way to Venice, arriving in the evening, where we’ll stay in Mestre or a nearby area.

Day 11

In the morning, we’ll provide a boat transfer to Venice, a city built on over 100 islands connected by more than 400 bridges. The boat will drop us off at the St. Mark´s area. We’ll go on a walking tour with a local guide through the city of canals (included). Afterwards, you´ll have free time to explore on your own. In the afternoon, you can enjoy an optional gondola ride along the canals.

Entre colinas viajamos a BERNA, capital de la confederación helvética y extraordinaria ciudad medieval. Tiempo para pasear y almorzar. Al comienzo de la tarde viajamos a Francia; hermosos paisajes de lagos y en el Franco-Condado. PARIS llegada al final del día.

Day 15

Today our guide will optionally offer a boat ride on the Seine River and a walk through the Latin Quarter. If you prefer, you may enjoy free time instead.At 5:00 p.m. we depart from PARIS towards the Loire Valley. Arrival in TOURS at the end of the afternoon, the capital of the Loire, where we recommend taking a stroll and having dinner in its beautiful historic center.

Day 16

Today we’ll journey to the south of FRANCE through vineyards, arriving in BORDEAUX, whose town center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have time for lunch and to explore. We suggest visiting the Port of the Moon and the Cathedral of St. Andrew. We’ll then continue towards the Pyrenees, reaching LOURDES in the late afternoon. Here, you can attend the candlelight procession (held from late March to the end of October) and visit various places of worship. Dinner will be included at the hotel for all our passengers.

Day 17

Early departure from LOURDES. Today we cross the Pyrenees mountain range among high peaks and stunning landscapes. Entering SPAIN, we stop for coffee in SALLENT DE GÁLLEGO, a historic mountain village with its Gothic church and medieval stone bridge.We continue to ZARAGOZA, the vibrant capital of Aragon. Time for lunch and to explore its historic quarter, discovering the great Plaza del Pilar with its cathedral and basilica, home to the venerated Virgin of the Pilar.We then continue to MADRID, arriving around 21:00 hrs.
