Day 1: (Saturday) BOGOTA – ISTANBUL

Arrive at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá three hours in advance to board your flight to Istanbul. Overnight on board.

Day 2: (Sunday) ISTANBUL – CAIRO

At the scheduled time, take the connecting flight to Cairo. Welcome to Egypt! Arrival at Cairo International Airport, Spanish-speaking assistance at the airport by our representative before passport control. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

Día 3: (Lunes) EL CAIRO - LUXOR

Desayuno buffet. Día libre o posibilidad de volar directo a Luxor por la mañana. Posibilidad de realizar visita opcional de día completo a la ciudad de El Cairo: El Museo de Arte Faraónico, la Ciudadela de Saladino con su Mezquita de Alabastro, el Barrio Copto y el Mercado de Khan el Khalili. Por la tarde, traslado al Aeropuerto de El Cairo, vuelo con destino a Luxor. Llegada y traslado al Barco. Cena y noche abordo.

Day 4: (Tuesday) LUXOR - ESNA - EDFU

Buffet breakfast on board. Visit to the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. We will visit the necropolis of Thebes: Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's mortuary temple known as Deir el Bahary, and the Colossi of Memnon. At the scheduled time, we will set sail for Esna. We will cross the Esna lock and continue sailing towards Edfu. Overnight on board.

Desayuno buffet en el barco. Llegada a Edfu, visita al Templo de Edfu dedicado al dios Horus. Navegación hacia Kom Ombo y visita al Templo de Kom Ombo, el único dedicado a dos divinidades: El dios Sobek con cabeza de cocodrilo y el dios Haroeris con cabeza de halcón. Navegación hacia Asuán. Noche abordo.

Day 6: (Thursday) ASWAN

Buffet breakfast on the boat. In the morning, optional excursion to the famous Temples of Abu Simbel. There will also be a felucca ride on the Nile (traditional Egyptian sailing boats) to admire panoramic views of the Agha Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island, and the Botanical Gardens. Then we will visit the Aswan Dam and the Temple of Philae. Night on board. The optional excursion to the Temples of Abu Simbel can be taken on this day OR the following day, depending on the schedule of the domestic flight ASW – CAI on the following day.

Day 7: (Friday) ASWAN - CAIRO

Buffet breakfast on the boat and disembarkation. Optional excursion to the famous Abu Simbel Temples. On return, flight to Cairo. Arrival in Cairo. In the evening, optional visit: Buffet dinner with show on a boat on the Nile River. Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Cairo. The optional excursion to the Temples of Abu Simbel can be taken on this day OR on the previous day, depending on the schedule of the domestic flight ASW – CAI on this day.

Day 8: (Saturday) CAIRO

Buffet breakfast. Departure for the included visit to the three Pyramids of Giza, the eternal Sphinx, and the Valley Temple (does not include entrance to the interior of the Pyramids). Free afternoon with the option of visiting the necropolis of Sakkara and the city of Memphis, capital of the ancient empire. In the evening, optional visit to the Pyramids Sound and Light Show. Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 09: (Sunday) CAIRO - THE FOUNTAINS OF MOSES - SAINT CATHERINE

Buffet breakfast. Departure for the Sinai Peninsula via the Ahmed Hamdy Tunnel under the Suez Canal, crossing from Africa to Asia. We will visit Ayun Musa or Moses' Springs (Mara) and then continue on to the city of Saint Catherine. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Saint Catherine.

Day 10: (Monday) SANTA CATALINA - MOUNT MOISÉS - ARAVA - PETRA

Buffet breakfast. At dawn, departure for Mount Moses or Mount Sinai (Mount Horeb), 2,285 m high, where the prophet Moses received the Tablets of the Law from God while the Hebrew people camped at the foot of the mountain. From the top of the mountain, we will be able to see the sunrise and Mount St. Catherine, which is the highest peak on the peninsula at 2,637 m. Descending from the mountain, we will visit the Monastery of Saint Catherine, located at an altitude of 1,570 m, with its impressive walls built between 527 and 565 by order of Emperor Justinian on the biblical site of the burning bush. The monastery owes its name to Saint Catherine, an Alexandrian martyr who died in 395, whose body, carried by angels, was discovered five centuries later at the top of the mountain that bears her name. It is the smallest diocese in the world and the oldest active monastery. Its library has the oldest manuscripts in the world after the Vatican. Return to the hotel and departure at the scheduled time for the border crossing where we will leave Egypt. Arrival in Arava via Eilat, transfer to the Jordanian border. Entry into Jordan "Arava" after completion of immigration formalities. Continue to Petra. Dinner and accommodation in Petra.

Day 11: (Tuesday) PETRA - AMMAN

Buffet breakfast. Departure for the Pink City, capital of the Nabataeans and confirmed as a Wonder of the World in 2007. We will visit the most important and representative monuments carved into the rocks by the Nabataeans: the Tomb of the Obelisks, the Siq, a 1 km long canyon at the end of which lies the impressive and famous Treasury (Al Khazneh), the Street of Columns, the colored tombs, and the royal tombs. Travel to Amman. Accommodation in Amman.

Day 12: (Wednesday) AMMAN - MADABA - MOUNT NEBO

Buffet breakfast. Departure for Madaba, better known as the City of Mosaics, located just 30 km from the Jordanian capital. There we will visit St. George's Church, where the oldest known mosaic map of the Holy Land, made in 571 AD, was found. Next, we will visit Mount Nebo, a place of great importance for all Christians, as it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet could see the Promised Land that he would never visit. Transfer to Amman Queen Alia International Airport for final departure and end of our services.

2.Passengers' full names are required, as they appear on their passports.

3. Initial deposit of $6,000,000 per person on the total value of the program. Non-refundable, as this deposit guarantees your place in the program.

4.Proportional monthly payments according to the departure date.

5. Full payment is required 45 days prior to departure. 

6.Cancellations between the day the deposit is made and the day the airline tickets are issued will incur a charge of 100% of the deposit.

7.RATES: Our programs are calculated at the average exchange rate for the current year between the Colombian peso and the US dollar and the euro; in the event of a significant upward fluctuation, this adjustment must be assumed by the passenger. Note*** These prices apply to payments made in cash or by bank transfer. 

8.In the event of an increase in airfare rates and taxes, which is the policy of the airline, and/or hotel taxes, fees, or government contributions, even if partial or full payment has been made, this difference must be paid by the passenger for the provision of the service.

9.In the event of non-payment, Viva Vacations reserves the right to cancel without entitlement to full or partial refunds.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1.The order of the itinerary may be changed without prior notice due to guide availability and monument closing days, always respecting the visits to be made.

2.Missing a flight will immediately result in the loss of all flights included in the same reservation. (no-show)

3.In order to activate cancellation insurance, once the deposit has been paid, the assistance cards will be issued, which are non-refundable under any circumstances. If, as an exception, a refund is approved, the retail value of the cards will be deducted and they will be delivered to the cardholder for use.

4.Domestic flight schedules are subject to confirmed bookings and availability

5.We reserve the right to change the order of visits according to domestic flight schedules. Note: The optional full-day visit to Cairo can be taken before traveling to Luxor, where the cruise begins, or after returning from Aswan, where the cruise ends.

8. Children aged 1 to 5 must be accompanied by adults and are not entitled to an extra bed.

9. Children aged 6 to 11 have the same value as the triple.

10.In triple rooms, the third bed is a fold-away bed. There are no triple rooms in the Tourist category. At present, we are unable to offer triple rooms.

11.A passport is required at least 40 days prior to arrival in order to process the visa to Jordan with the operator.

12.Flights must be scheduled as follows to ensure proper coordination with the established itinerary:

Outbound flight: afternoon flight, departing at 4:35 p.m. and arriving at 11:45 p.m.

Return flight: in the morning, departing at 1:35 a.m. and arriving at 3:05 p.m.
